Itinerary

Day 1: Tangier » Chefchaouen » Fes [309 Km]

our desert tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Tangier. From there, we head directly to Chefchaouen, famously known as the “Blue Pearl of the North.” This enchanting town captivates visitors with its blue-washed streets adorned with vibrant green plants and blooming red roses.

Take a leisurely stroll along the serene river, enjoying the calming atmosphere of the town. We’ll also stop at the central square, Plaza Uta el Hamam, to sip on refreshing mint tea and soak in the charm of the surroundings. After lunch, we continue our journey to Fes, where you’ll rest and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Fes » Ifrane » Merzouga Desert [467 Km]

After a hearty breakfast, we set off toward the mesmerizing Merzouga Sahara Desert, traveling through the scenic High and Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll visit Ifrane, nicknamed “Morocco’s Little Switzerland” for its alpine-style architecture and lush surroundings.

Continuing through Azrou, we’ll pause to admire the famous cedar forests and perhaps spot the playful Barbary macaques. As we drive through the breathtaking Ziz Valley, we’ll pass by the city of Midelt and stop at Erfoud, renowned for its fascinating fossils.

Finally, we arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll embark on a memorable camel ride into the Sahara. Enjoy a traditional dinner, listen to lively Berber music, and spend the night under a starlit sky in a desert camp.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert » Todra Gorges » Dades Valley [255 Km]

Start the day early by witnessing a stunning sunrise from atop the dunes of Merzouga, a sight you’ll never forget. Afterward, return to the village by camel and set out for Rissani, exploring Tafilalet, the ancestral home of Morocco’s Alaouite dynasty.

Next, we journey to the dramatic Todgha Gorge, where towering cliffs provide an awe-inspiring landscape. From there, we travel to the lush Dades Valley, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a charming riad.

Day 4: Dades Valley » Ait Ben Haddou » Marrakech [325 Km]

After breakfast, our adventure continues as we explore the Valley of Roses, famous for its fragrant rose fields and local cosmetic products. We then proceed to Skoura, known for its scenic palm groves, and visit a film studio in Ouarzazate, a hub for international movie productions.

The highlight of the day is a visit to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic kasbahs in Morocco. After exploring this historic fortified village, we drive through the majestic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, crossing the High Atlas Mountains on our way to Marrakech.

Upon arrival, we’ll drop you off at your accommodation, marking the end of our unforgettable journey.
