Day 1: Arrival to Fes » Transfer to the Hotel/Riad

Day 2: Explore Fes with a Local Guide

After a delightful breakfast at the Riad, the journey begins in the modern part of Fes, including a visit to the Royal Palace and the Jewish Quarter (Mellah). Next, head to a panoramic viewpoint to admire the medina’s stunning expanse from the South Tower.

Explore the labyrinthine streets of Fes’s medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on foot. Known for its bustling atmosphere, potters, dyers, and artisan guilds, the medina offers a fascinating glimpse into a medieval world where time seems to have stood still. Return to your Riad for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Fes » Volubilis » Moulay Idriss » Meknes » Rabat [207 km]

After breakfast, head to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the remarkably preserved Roman ruins showcase exquisite mosaics. Despite the damage caused by the 1755 earthquake, the site retains its historical charm.

Continue to Moulay Idriss, a spiritual town, and then to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Known historically as Miknasa, the city boasts rich Berber and Roman history.

Arrive in Rabat, Morocco’s capital, to explore key landmarks like the Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Overnight in Rabat.

Day 4: Rabat » Casablanca » Marrakech [323 km]

Begin your day by visiting the magnificent Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. Known for its grandeur and intricate designs, this is the largest mosque in Morocco and a masterpiece of Islamic architecture.

After the visit, journey to Marrakech. Once there, explore Jemaa el Fna, a vibrant square filled with storytellers, musicians, and food vendors. This cultural hub has deep historical roots and offers a glimpse into Moroccan traditions. Overnight in a Riad in Marrakech.

Day 5: Day to Explore Marrakech with a Local Guide

A guided tour of Marrakech awaits, beginning with the Koutoubia Mosque and the old medina with its lively souks. Visit iconic sites such as the Ali Ben Youssef Koranic School, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the serene Majorelle Gardens.

After an enriching day, return to your Riad in the medina for dinner and a restful evening.

Day 6: Marrakech » Ait Ben Haddou » Ouarzazate » Dades Valley [325 km]

Depart Marrakech and traverse the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, visit the historic Telouet Kasbah, known for its intricate interior designs.

Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famed film location. After lunch nearby, drive to Ouarzazate and the scenic Skoura palm groves, followed by the Valley of Roses. The day concludes in the Dades Valley, where you will spend the night.

Day 7: Dades » Todra Gorges » Rissani » Merzouga [269 km]

Start with a visit to the stunning Dades Valley and then continue to Todra Gorges, a dramatic canyon with towering red cliffs. Explore the valley and traditional Berber villages along the way.

After lunch, travel through Erfoud and Rissani before reaching Merzouga. Upon arrival, enjoy a warm welcome with mint tea. Dinner and overnight are arranged at a Riad or hotel in Merzouga.

Day 8: Merzouga Tour: Berber Nomad Families [45 km]

Today’s adventure includes exploring the Merzouga desert area. Visit Lake Sirji, the Khamlia village, home to Gnaoua musicians, and the historic Meffes Mines. Enjoy tea with Berber nomads in the desert and learn about their way of life.

In the evening, embark on a camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi, marveling at the sunset. Spend the night in a traditional Berber tent under the stars.

Day 9: Merzouga » Erfoud » Ziz Valley » Azrou » Fes [467 km]

After returning from the desert and freshening up, drive to Rissani, the historic foundation of the Alaouite dynasty. Pass through Erfoud and the lush Ziz Valley, with its palm groves and scenic gorges.

Stop for lunch in Midelt, then continue to the Cedar Forest near Azrou, where you can see playful Barbary macaques. Pass through Ifrane, known as Morocco’s Switzerland, before arriving in Fes for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Fes » Transfer to Airport

After breakfast, your adventure concludes as your driver transfers you to the airport for your departure. Take with you the memories of an unforgettable journey through Morocco’s rich history, culture, and natural beauty.
