Our exceptional Fes Guided Tours starts by picking you up from your luxurious Hotel or historic Riad in Fes, then drive towards The Old Medina, the beaten heart of Morocco. The old Medina is a maze-like walled city filled with hidden history and marvelous surviving cultures.
We will enter the Medina from its Royal entry, “Bab Boujloud”, “The Blue Gate” where you would admire the stunning architecture and Majestic decoration, made of spectacular marble, and authentic blue Moroccan tiles, which perfectly turn to green at the other side of the gateway. We will take you through the very narrow streets lined with small shops selling the most captivating handicrafts and handmade items beautifully made to represent the ancient everlasting Moroccan culture.
Next, we will take you discover the old “Medrasas” (ancient Islamic Schools), starting by The Karaouine Mosque, the first functioning university in the world. We will explore together The Nejjarine Marble Fountain, The Bouanania, The Attarine Medersa to get a clear image on the old Islamic education.
Then we will move to The Chouwara tanneries where real leather is being naturally shaped and colored to give the most mesmerizing leather goods, as bags, purses, jackets wallets and more beautiful items.
Afterwards, we will move away from the Madrasas, where lie the Merenid tombs, a few giant tombs that sit on the hill above Fes giving the most dramatic and mysterious scene. The tombs also offer a fantastic view of the city just before sundown.
Then, we will start exploring outside the walled city starting by the magnificent Royal Palace, where you would get amazed by the spectacular decoration of its hefty brass doors, and the most splendid Moroccan architecture. We would also visit “El Mellah”, the first Jewish quarter in Morocco, an extremely well-preserved walled quarter with a gold souk, large windows and open balconies lining the street, which make a complete contrast of The Old Medina.
At the end of our tour, we will go back to our luxurious Riad to have some rest.
Early in the morning, we will start our memorable Fes Desert Tours, heading towards the spectacular Moroccan Sahara. Our professional team will pick you up from your accommodation in Fez the ancient walled city, and drive through the remarkable views of the Middle Atlas Mountains.
We will pass by the most charming landscapes and captivating Berber villages, to first stop in Ifrane, The marvelous Mountains town. Ifrane city, or “Little Switzerland”, is well known for its clean mountains air, scrubbed streets and leafy outlook.
Next, we will stop in Azrou, The old Berber town with its funny little Monkeys and fragrant cedar forest trails. Travel Across Morocco Team will take you on tour through the green wide woods, to breathe some fresh air and feed the Barbary Monkeys.
Then, we will pursue our Fes to Marrakech 7 Days to The Berber town of Rocks, The beautiful Midelt. We will have our Berber Tagine in a cozy Berber-style restaurant, where Vegetables will taste so different, appetizing, fresh and tasty when cooked in a Moroccan Tagine.
The final stop on today’s adventure would be Merzouga village, the magnificent Door the Majestic Sahara. We will find our camels waiting to take us on the most memorable Camel Trek, during the inexplicably magical sunset.
We will spend the night in an intimate desert camp, gathering around the campfire, and listening to the exotic Sahara Music.
Our next journey starts by an early inspiring camel in the perfect golden Dunes of the Sahara Desert. We will have an early wake up to admire the captivating Sunrise and the marvelous endless Sands.
We would have some time in the desert to spot the wildlife and meet the Sahara Nomads. You would be also able to experience the most adventurous Sahara activities as Sand-Boarding, Quad Biking, and Motorcycling.
Then, Travel Across Morocco Team will introduce you to a humble family of Nomads, to have some Moroccan Sahara Tea and know more about their simple everlasting way of life.
In the late evening, we will head to our traditional Hotel in Merzouga, to have some rest and get ready for our coming adventure.
Early in the morning, we will start the next day of our Fes to Marrakech 7 Days, by an early camel trek, where you would fall in love with the quietness of the wide Sahara and the peaceful Sunrise. We would also have some time in the desert to spot the wildlife and meet the Sahara Nomads.
Next, we will leave the golden Merzouga, passing by the marvelous Sahara villages and green oases. The first stop will be Todra Gorges, the mesmerizing orange cliffs and one of Morocco’s premier sport climbing destinations.
We will continue our way through the old Sahara regions to get to our last stop of the Day, the magical Dades valley. We will have our tasty Moroccan dish for Dinner and spend the night in a lovely local Hotel along Dades River.
After a nice tempting breakfast, we will start our day by a short walk in the green paradise to see the tremendous Cliffs, the mesmerizing rock pools and swimming holes.
We will pursue our Fes to Marrakech Desert Tours through the captivating Desert Regions and green Oases to Skoura, a paradise of palm and olive trees dotted with kasbahs and small villages, where we can lose ourselves in the extreme charm of the fabulous nature and meet the humble southern Sahara Berbers.
Next, we will continue our adventure to Ouarzazate, The Epic Gateway of The Moroccan Sahara, where we would spend the night in a spectacular Local Hotel, as you can see the most fascinating Atlas Mountains views from your own beautifully decorated window.
On the last adventure of your Fes Sahara Tours, we will explore the epic Sahara town starting by the large International Film Studio. You will have some time in the studio to discover the captivating Moroccan treasures and the home of International Masterpieces, as “Gladiator”, “The Jewel of the Nile” and “Game of Thrones.” We would also take you through the old Mud Buildings with the most fascinating Atlas Mountains Views.
The following Destination would be Ait Ben Haddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco and the fortified Ksar(Royal Palace). The Kasbah is also an international Film location and a perfect destination to explore the ancient Moroccan Mud Architecture.
After a spectacular tour and a tempting Tagine in the old Kasbah, we will start driving towards Marrakech through the most dangerous road in Morocco, Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the road of A Thousand Kasbah.
Our final adventure would be to Marrakech The Red City, where we would leave you to enjoy the local life and get into the busy Moroccan culture.
